The deep draw process produces high-strength, lightweight parts more cost-effectively than other methods. Among the advantages offered by deep draw are rapid press cycle times; fewer operations required to finish a part; the attainment of larger length-to-diameter ratios than through progressive die tooling; and the ability to create complex geometries unattainable through other processes.
Deep draw is cost-effective at high volumes, with reduced processing resulting in a lower cost per piece. In addition, reduced tooling costs can make deep draw a more cost-effective option than progressive die stamping.
