At Metal Flow, we recognize our responsibility to our community and are deeply committed to its enrichment. Metal Flow sponsors concerts and events during Holland's Tulip Time, one of the country's largest festivals, which celebrates the area's Dutch heritage with entertainment, parades, and millions of blooming tulips.
Metal Flow is also proud to sponsor a local high school's FIRST Robotics team each year. The FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) program teams professionals with students to build a robot that solves an engineering design problem. The competition involves more than 1,100 teams from around the world, including those sponsored by the likes of NASA, General Motors, Ford, and Chrysler. Metal Flow teams have won local and regional competitions and placed as high as the top 5% nationally. The students gain experience in CAD, engineering, and machining, while the Metal Flow staff contributes to the community and prepares its future workforce (and has a lot of fun in the process!).
Metal Flow is also committed to helping the less fortunate. Employee donations to local holiday programs for needy families and to multiple charitable organizations are matched by the company.
